Sheeshon Ka Maseeha, is a life sketch of renowned Urdu Poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz, with interesting anecdotes, philosophical letters from Jail to his wife, soulful ghazals and nazms written by him. The production traced the early influences in his life, his years in jail and his contribution to the progressive movement. Poet, philosopher, activist, humanist… we celebrate this great poet and the legacy he has left behind.
Chale Chalo Ki Woh Manzil Abhi Nahi Aayi, a poem written by Faiz Ahmed Faiz and recited by Jaswinder Singh, was well appreciated by the audience.
