Rahul Khanna, Fashion Designer in a tête-à-tête with BVT

Your biggest fashion blunder:
It was our first fashion show. We designed a line of wearable women's office clothesline, which were well done, yet people did not like it that much; they wanted to see skin.

One thing you shouldn't have in the wardrobe:
For men, Versace prints, bad shoes and big belts.
For women, netted stockings, which should be burnt.

What comes to mind when you think of orange?
Fun, Sunrise, Yoga, and Meditation.

The person you would like to dress up…
Angelina Jolie, Aishwarya Rai and Mallika Sherawat,
because they are poles apart and it could be fun.

The person you think seriously needs a makeover…
Laloo Prasad Yadav and Sonia Gandhi.

A dress made of cherries and chocolate would be…
Yummy!!!!!!

Three words to describe you…
Friendly, Adventurous and a Party Animal.

Three words to describe the clothes you design…
Naughty, Opulent and Chic.

One nonsensical thing you have come across in the world of fashion…
When there is too much drama in the show. A fashion show or a presentation of a collection should be about the collection and therefore simple. When people start combining it with all kinds of activities the clothes get underrated.

One myth about designer clothes, you would like to set right…
People have this mindset that designer clothes are expensive and that’s why they refrain from buying them. In reality designer clothes are not that expensive and are easily affordable.
